Current Hours

Our orchards are currently covered in beautiful Northern Michigan snow, but preparations are underway to make the 2026 harvest one of the best yet.

The season typically begins in June with strawberries, one of the first fruits ready for picking in Northern Michigan. By mid-July, the farm transitions into its signature cherry season. This is the most popular time to visit, when dark sweet, tart and specialty cherries reach peak ripeness. As summer fades into fall, apple season takes center stage at Wunsch Farms. Typically beginning in early to mid-September and continuing into October, the orchard shifts to crisp air, vibrant color and some of the most iconic Up North flavors of the year.
